Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos have teamed up with the Win Foundation in New York to provide 20 homeless college students with scholarships. The Win Foundation ‘provides safe housing and critical services to help homeless women and their children rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness’.
Ripa and Consuelos’ contribution will pay for laptops and scholarships worth $2,000 each. The couple is excited to help these students in any way that they can to help provide a brighter future.
The students chosen to receive the scholarships have been housed for schooling through the Win Foundation. Without the generous donation, students would struggle to complete remote learning amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Many of the students have come forward to thank Ripa and Consuelos for their generosity.
