Channing Tatum writes his first children’s book as a love letter to his 7 year-old daughter.
The Magic Mike star announced the release of the book on Instagram and explained that the inspiration to write the book came to him while being stuck in his daughter’s room during quarantine. He then discovered “the little girl” in himself and went on to write a story of a vibrant little girl named Ella and her father, resembling the relationship between Tatum and his daughter Everly.
He dedicated the book to Everly writing, “To Everly, the most brilliant magical being that I have ever known. You are my greatest teacher. My only wish is for more time in this life to play in all of the magical realms we have created. This is also for all Dads that might have a little girl…Wear whatever, dance however, and be as magical as you can. Because I promise they will return the love,”
In his photo, Tatum surely does as his dedication suggests all dads do, being as magical as he can, and we are in love!
