He told fans he was excited to bring back the character, which was created by the outdated Milestone Media\u2014a group of Black artists and writers who specialized in comic book distribution by DC Comics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Michael B. Jordan states on the development, \u201cI\u2019m proud to be a part of building a new universe centered around Black superheroes; our community deserves that. The Outlier Society is committed to bringing to life diverse comic book content across all platforms and we are excited to partner with Reggie and Warner Bros. on this initial step.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you may have sawed the word \u201csuperhero\u201d and assumed Jordan would be the lead, he will be behind the scenes for this film. The series was created by DC Comics in 1993 and featured in the animated Kids\u2019 series, Static, the crime-fighting name of teen Virgil Hawkins, who first gains electromagnetic powers after being exposed to experimental chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With all being said, I am stoked to see Michael B. Jordan produce this new film!
