The Oregon Zoo’s red panda cub has been given a name: Pabu. He was named by Miriam Bolding of Hillsboro, who won a raffle held by the Oregon Zoo Foundation to “dub the cub”. Together with the zoo’s staff they picked the name Pabu, a red panda-like character from The Legend of Korra.
Pabu was born to Mei Mei the red panda on June 18th. He is becoming more and more adventurous, and loves exploring with his mom!
