This comedy benefit event was focused on helping Oregon nonprofits. We designed it so that attendees while registering, could select an Oregon nonprofit. Giving Forward (GoodBuzz’s parent organization) will be distributing the donations to the nonprofits who got the votes. The sponsor Luckii provided us with $10K in corporate philanthropy budget to spread around. Lots of fun. We were doing good and feeling good.
This was an ongoing initiative to democratize corporate philanthropy using a free comedy event. Jason Love MCs the event and brings on a handful of really funny comics including Monica Nevi, Carl Banks, Tyler Boeh, and Sierra Katow. Tony Winders co-MCs and helps keep the audience focused.
