Steve Martin finds humor during pandemic

Like a lot of us during this pandemic, I sometimes feel like my identity is being ‘masked’ (pun intended). We go out in public and have to wear our face masks in order to protect the population from this terrible virus and it is hard to see who people really are, or even recognize who your friends and family are sometimes. In comes…Steve Martin. Known for his iconic roles in works such as Saturday Night Live, The Pink Panther, and Planes, Trains and Automobiles, the Emmy award winning, legendary comedian who has made a living off of making people laugh has found a clever way to make sure people know who he is.

Steve posted a selfie on Twitter wearing his mask and also donning a piece of paper with his name and an arrow on it.

Other celebrities even got in on the joke like Ice-T and ‘Star Trek’ star George Takei!

During the time of COVID-19, we all need a little humor to help us through the day and this is just what we need. I probably would have gone with a more blatant approach of a shirt with my name on it, but I think it is safe to say, Steve wins this time!
