Niall Horan Announces Livestream Benefit Concert

After cancelling his Nice To Meet Ya Tour, Niall Horan has announced a live stream benefit concert where all the profits go towards crew members that have lost their jobs due to the impact of COVID-19. The virtual benefit livestream will take place Nov. 7 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Niall, along with many other artists, were forced to cancel their tours earlier this year. Because of this, the crew, who usually follows the tour around the world, are left jobless. The benefit concert is shining a light on the importance and necessity of crew members while on tour. Niall has dedicated all of the proceeds made through the sales of virtual tickets, will be donated to his own touring crew and shared with other crew members through the #WeNeedCrew relief fund. This relief fund will help to share the profits with other crew members throughout the UK.

Niall took to Instagram to share a video of him walking through the empty Royal Albert Hall.

“This is something I’m incredibly passionate about as live events are something we all love and miss,” Niall wrote. “Until we are able to return I want to shine a light on the incredible crew members of our touring world that make those events possible and whose livelihoods have been severely affected by Covid-19 and the lack of financial support to self-employed Arts World members.”

The livestream will be a global event, streaming from London to the rest of the world. Fans from around the globe are excited to finally hear Niall’s latest album performed live.

Tickets for the event go on sale Oct. 16 here: http://niall.to/RAHlivestream
